Your mission
- You take responsibility for and manage the commercial functions – accounting, controlling, taxes, financing)
- You are a sparring partner for management on all strategic issues
- The transfer of the “start-up” structures into a stable, productive and resilient “finance organization” and the continuous adaptation of processes to the company are among your first challenges
- Developing controlling into a proactive management tool to tap into sales and earnings potential and manage the company based on key figures
- Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements and further development of existing management and investor reporting
- Liquidity management and development of new sources of financing as well as coordination of financing rounds
Your profile
- You are a finance professional with a track record in fast-growing and fast-paced business models with at least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience (including at least 3-5 years in commercial management)
- Sound business education, ideally having spent the first years of your career in an auditing company
- Ideally, you have experience with digital and subscription-based business models
- You have a solid background in the main financial disciplines Accounting, controlling, cash flow management, taxes, financing, reporting
- Experience in setting up new structures and processes and “making finance scalable”
- Strong implementation-oriented leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, develop and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals
- Strong pragmatic “hands-on” mentality
- Very good Excel skills
- Very good English and German language skills
- Overall entrepreneurial orientation and the ability to communicate at eye level
