A central tool for collaborative working

With around 11,000 employees, LBBW is Germany’s largest state bank and enables location-independent working. Like many other companies, the bank was faced with the challenge of how teams could work on joint tasks across different locations and in a virtual space: ‘We had various applications for collaborative working, but we wanted to focus on a central tool. Our focus was primarily on the joint development of concepts and the organisation of purely virtual and hybrid meetings and workshops. It was also important for us to integrate central functions such as a Kanban board,’ summarises Rüdiger Kinzel, one of over 30 Agile Coaches at the bank. In addition to the technical requirements, it was particularly important that the tool fulfils the bank’s strict security standards and is accessible without barriers.

Conceptboard as a bank-wide solution

After a careful examination of various solutions, Conceptboard was chosen. ‘Conceptboard fulfils all the requirements that are important to us,’ says Kinzel. ‘The GDPR and ISO certification, the accessibility of the tool and the proximity to the provider here in Stuttgart were also decisive factors for us.’

‘Conceptboard is intuitive and covers a wide range of use cases. As a result, the tool has spread quickly within the bank and is being used actively. After just six months, we have already reached the number of active users that we hadn’t actually planned until a year after launch,’ explains Christoph Warncke, who is responsible for Conceptboard at LBBW as Service Owner.

The convincing advantages of Conceptboard:

  • Security: Conceptboard’s high security standards, including GDPR and ISO certification, were a decisive criterion for LBBW.
  • Efficient utilisation: Projects and processes can be created and edited in no time at all thanks to the intuitive operation and wide range of functions.
  • Teamwork: Working together on whiteboards, documents and coordination promotes communication and exchange within the team.
  • A variety of functions: From Kanban boards and voting to document management, Conceptboard offers everything needed for efficient collaboration.
  • Design: Over 100 appealing templates and a constant stream of new functions, such as the table function, ensure a clear and structured presentation of information.

Learned in no time: it’s that simple!

‘Conceptboard is a real relief in day-to-day work and has become an indispensable tool,’ says Kinzel, summarising his experience. LBBW uses various training formats to familiarise employees with Conceptboard. ‘We have set up a community on our social intranet for questions about Conceptboard,’ reports Kinzel. ‘We also offer various training formats, both internal and on-the-job training.’

Success story: Conceptboard as a building block to inspire employees

With Conceptboard, the bank has found a tool that efficiently supports the teams in their work in a hybrid environment. The application enables projects and processes to be organised more efficiently and collaboration within the teams to be significantly improved. ‘Conceptboard has very quickly become a central building block in the bank’s collaborative tools environment,’ says Warncke, summarising the development within the company.
