Your Mission
At Conceptboard, we’re building a collaboration product that teams in enterprise and security-critical environments use every day—and we’re building it with the goal of ensuring it remains reliable, maintainable, and scalable. To do this, we need senior engineers who not only deliver but also raise the bar through the way they build.
You’ll be hands-on in the Platform or App team, you’ll ship code—and you’ll make the team better by doing so. You’ll bring senior delivery expertise to wherever the bottleneck lies today, translate the target architecture into real software, and provide feedback as it meets reality. At the same time, you actively ensure that knowledge stays within the team and is shared—you won’t become the next single point of failure.

Your Responsibilities

• Building at a high level. You’ll deliver platform and app services hands-on—using the practices that ensure they remain maintainable over the long term: testing, observability, clear boundaries, and thorough documentation.
• Implement and stress-test architecture. You translate the target architecture into working software. Where it meets reality and breaks, you identify the issues and provide feedback. You influence direction through your work.
• Actively reduce the bus factor. You share context, document, pair-program, and mentor—so that knowledge spreads throughout the team. To be clear: Don’t become the next person on whom everything depends.
• Set the standard by example. Your code reviews, your craftsmanship, your collaboration—these are the benchmarks others use to guide themselves.
• Multiply agentic practices. We’re in the process of establishing agentic engineering throughout the entire organization. You’re committed to this approach, lead by example, and help us establish and maintain shared practices.

Your profile

Must-haves

• Strong, hands-on engineering skills. In-depth, up-to-date build experience. The kind of senior developer whose code others trust and can learn from.
• Sound engineering practices as the default. Testing, observability, CI/CD, and clear boundaries aren’t afterthoughts for you—they’re how you work.
• A collaborative multiplier, not a lone hero. You share knowledge and elevate the team—instead of hoarding context or creating dependencies.
• Agentic-first. You already work in an agentic-first way—or you’re eager to learn it and have the discipline to do it right.

• In-depth expertise in relevant domains: distributed systems, real-time architecture, or collaboration platforms.
• Experience in highly regulated environments with strict compliance requirements.
• Experience on a platform or enabling team that serves other teams as internal customers.
• A proven track record of mentoring—not just “helping out occasionally.”
