Due to the impact of the novel COVID-19, many of us are currently transforming our home into an office. In doing so however, we find ourselves confronted by a new reality: How to collaborate efficiently with coworkers when they are not in the same room?
While the prospect of working remotely may be overwhelming at first, we at Conceptboard are here to support you every step of the way! In order to get you #RemoteReady, we announce the following initiatives:
#RemoteReady – New Free Webinar Series:
Remote work has a number of positive aspects – but at the same time it raises some questions regarding the quality of collaboration: Do we still feel like a team? Do we have everyone on board and no one left behind? Do we share a common goal? And do we all know what to do and what is important at any given moment?
The sudden loss of valuable facetime cannot be underestimated which is why we are launching a new webinar series, titled #RemoteReady, this week. This series is aimed at anyone who wants to enhance their knowledge of working distributed – whether you are new to remote work or an old hand. The webinars will be hosted in German or English, and we will have an expert on each of the topics.
We kick-off this series with the below webinar. All Conceptboard users (as well as friends and colleagues) are welcome and can participate for free.

#RemoteReady – Your free Conceptboard account receives an upgrade:
Every user at Conceptboard can create as many boards as they like, including for free accounts. However, free boards were previously limited to 50 objects. We are now loosening this restriction and allowing up to 100 objects per board. With this upgrade, we hope to give a useful digital whiteboard to as many remote workers as possible.
The boards in the paid licenses will of course remain unlimited, and all users can expect that we will continue to work hard in the coming weeks and months to ensure that our services are available without failures.
#RemoteReady – Home Office Fast Track
If you immediately need a shared, visual workspace, start in your Conceptboard account right now:
- Use the boards as you would use the conference table or the whiteboard in the office
- Invite all meeting participants and use the board as a visual workspace for the call
- Let the participants create sticky notes themselves and upload documents
- Use comments to record feedback and to assign tasks
- Try out the new templates (e.g. for Retrospectives) and adapt them individually
We are here for you. If you have any questions in regards to remote work or working with Conceptboard in general, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
You can find more tips, ideas and support here in our blog, as well as directly in the app.
We hope that with this we can make a small contribution, not only to overcoming the crisis, but also to better and happier collaboration among distributed teams in general.
If you have any questions about working remotely or working with Conceptboard in general, please get in touch.
All the best, stay healthy, and hope to hear from you soon!
