New Dropbox Integration in Conceptboard!
To make it easier to add your content to a board, we’re introducing Conceptboard’s integration with Dropbox! This works with Dropbox basic, pro, or Dropbox for Business accounts.
Dropbox lets you access your photos and docs from anywhere. But what about when you need to do more than just access files and leave notes?
When using Conceptboard, discussing and giving feedback on a variety of files can be done in the same context. You can hold a discussion in the board, mark up feedback directly on top of your files, then assign tasks to keep the project moving forward!
A central place for all your creative work
In the modern workplace, successful projects need more collaboration and creativity than ever. This happens when designers, marketers, and other creatives need to work with managers, developers, partners, and clients, to get projects from the initial idea to the final approved version. It can usually involve several rounds of feedback and iteration on documents and drafts stored in several places.
Instead of dealing with endless email threads, attachments, or online file links, centralize discussions and creative work directly on top of your content.
How to add files from Dropbox
- To add a file from Dropbox into the board, click the plus icon in the upper left hand corner of the board.
- Click the toggle button, then click the “Import from Dropbox” link to bring up the file chooser.
- Login to your Dropbox account if you haven’t already done so. Select any files and photos from your account and click the “Choose” button. That’s it!
You can use the new integration from a desktop computer or a tablet. On a desktop, the file chooser will open up as a new pop-up window. From a tablet, the file chooser will open up as a new tab.
Supported file types of 25MB or less will be added to the board as images. The original files attach to the board for easy download. You can then invite your team for a real-time collaborative session, and start adding feedback right on top of your files!
P.S. We’ve just announced new support for the Microsoft Edge browser!
